  I am trying to embed shortcake into my website, but only text will show in the visual screen. Code will not transfer to graphics

  You can’t use/add/install plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons:

  WordPress.com does not allow JavaScript embed or additional plugins, and for this behavior you need to use WordPress.org. On WordPress.com page, from what we tested, the only deployment that worked well is iframe deployment. Note the differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/.
