hi, this site is no longer needed for years, I thought I deleted it.
WP says I do not have a site, however when I google my name the site comes up.
I contacted GoDaddy who told me to contact WP who
is hosting it. -
Hi there ,
Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address.
You can empty and delete your site. Please refer the below links for more details:
WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted because WordPress.com don’t want other people to have your username in the future but you can easily
delete your site and its data.Data once deleted, cannot be recovered.
Thanks!

Hi cassiewilliams2801,
It’s more likely seem that the website is registered with any other account. You can log into your another account and delete this website.
If you don’t have access to it, you can recover your account.
@nrpatil0408,
Please note that it’s possible to recover a website within 30 days of its deletion. -
Hello there, As @ravichahar mentioned, it’s likely you need to be logged in with a different username account. The one you are posting to the forums from is only a couple of hours old.
If you had email notifications of new comments on your site you could also try leaving one on that site and then see where the email goes.
Another possibility is to feed your known and active email addresses into the password reset form https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and hopefully you’ll get it.
Lastly, deleting a site from WordPressdotcom does not immediately remove it from search engine results. It can take 4-6 weeks before they recrawl and reindex your site and remove it from their cache. If you need that taken down sooner, you’ll need to follow the procedure for removal at each of the search engines’ support. WordPressdotcom has no control over that.
