Catagories in sidebar?

  Is there anyway to get catagory links in my side bar? For instance, if someone only wants to read about my contests and giveaways, they click on that catagory link in the sidebar and it will list only my contests and giveaways posts.

  dashboard -> design -> widgets
  add a category cloud or list.

  or you can use the categories widget
