Catalog Mode for WooCommerce
-
My client wants to use WooCommerce in catalog mode so that users can sort and view carpet samples for their preferred carpet type (nylon, sisal, wool, etc.) and then request a free sample of the various carpet styles they are interested in. Therefore, users need to be able to choose the carpet samples they want to receive free and send a request to my client to fulfill their request.
I don’t want the product thumbnails to lead to a product page – I need them to be added to an order for free samples so that my client will know which carpet samples to provide.
After researching how to achieve this functionality and based on the descriptions provided by WooCommerce, I purchased the following extensions:
- Advanced Catalog Mode for WooCommerce
- Product Filters for WooCommerce
Unfortunately, the documentation for these extensions is not thorough and although I am following exactly what they state to do, I have not been able to get them to function properly at all. None of the settings in Advanced Catalog Mode for WooCommerce appear correctly on the Shop page.
I was planning to return the extensions for a refund, but I thought I would try asking for help in this forum first to see if anyone can help me figure out how to achieve the functionality I need.
Any help will be much appreciated…thanx.

Hi there,
For help with any WooCommerce add-ons bought on WooCommerce.com, you can open a support ticket from within your WooCommerce.com account at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
That’s the best way to get help with those extensions.
The forum you’re posting to now is for the hosting platform, WordPress.com, where we primarily provide support for websites hosted on our free plan, and we’re not able to help with premium WooCommerce add-ons here :)
