categories

    Hi,

I am running a design called Andreas09. I’ve noticed that my “categories” are not listed on either side bar; instead, Andreas 09 has listed “Blogroll” on both side bars. This doesn’t seem right. I don’t want to change to a different design, and would like to display “Categories” on at least one of the side bars.

    Help,
    Giovanni

That sounds odd. Can you give us a link you your blog? Be a little easier to help.

This will make it a little easier for others. http://yzed.wordpress.com/

well, that IS odd! I only have a one-column theme, but I imagine you must have a setting somewhere under widgets, that puts the blogroll in both columns.

About the categories-widget; it doesn’t seem that you have that widget added? Go to dashboard -> design -> widgets, and make sure you click the “add” on the cat. widget on the right, and that it turns up in the list where you can edit it.

If this is of no help, you’ll have to wait until someone with a two-column design turns up.
    All the best.

Thanks for your directions! I went to the location and fiddled with what was there, and was successful. Thanks, again!

No problem! Fiddling is often the solution :-)
    Happy to help.
    (good blog, by the way)
