  Can I change categories on old posts without re publishing to my blog or Facebook? I have several that were uncategorised and I would like to re assign them.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Jill!

  Definitely! The easiest way to do this would be to use the Quick Edit tool described here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#quick-edit

  Provided you’ve already created the category (instructions here), you should be able to add the post to it through the Quick Edit module. Can you give that a try?

  Thank you so much for your help. I successfully updated those categories by using Quick Edit. Now that I know I can do this without re publishing, I can go back to do some other category changes to improve my blog. Much appreciated!
