  On another note – I just started yesterday and don’t even know how to assign a category. I’ve made 3 categories and I have 2 posts. How do I go back to the posts and assign them to a category?

  salleyaw, go to your dashboard, then click on a post. When it opens, scroll down to “Categories”. Click the arrow to open that directory. Click “All categories”. Check the box by the category you want this post to go in. Click save above and to the right.

  Wow, I’m fairly new to WordPress also. I did’nt get the difference between the post/ page, post/categories either. Don’t feel so dumb now.
