  I’m building my very first blog for a business site.
  I’ve created categories for such things like ‘about me’ Disclaimer’ Privacy Policy.
  I want to add content to each of these categories, so that when someone clicks on them they’re brought to that information.

  You *can* set a category for a post and then use that category in your menu or in a widget, however you might want to consider using the Post format for your blog entries and use Page format for the About Me, Dsclaimer, etc. See the support document on posts vs. Pages
