  I want to remove the word ‘category’ from my sites ‘blog posts’ page

  Hi there!

  It looks like you set a Category page as your “Blog” link in your menu – that’s why it’s showing the “Category” for that page when you view it.

  If you want your Blog page to show your blog posts, you can quickly set one up by following the instructions here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/pages/#create-a-blog-page

  Then, once you have that blog page set, update your menu to use that page instead of the Category page you’re using now.
