  How do I manage categories? All the help pages I’ve found say there is a menu for categories that I can’t find! I want to rename a category and delete a category. Is this possible with a free account?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can manage your post categories by going to your WP Admin dashboard: https://jencares.wordpress.com/wp-admin
  From there, look on the left sidebar for Posts>Categories. You can manage them there.

  “Clicking on Delete will delete that category. When a category is deleted, all posts that were only in that category will be assigned to the default category. If a post was also in other categories it will remain untouched. You cannot delete the default category.”

  I could not find the admin page – that was my problem. Thank you so much for including the link, instead of just telling me it was on the admin page.
