  Set categories for recent post. ‘Categories’ options have disappeared from Add Post page. Thanks

  Hi ,
  Just try to check if your adding a Post or a Page . As you have written Post Page both.
  If you add a Page then categories dont appear , if you add a Blog Post they do appear.
  Also you might be aware already , your categories can be managed here https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/ .

  Thanks! While waiting for your kind response, clicked on “Write” icon at top right of page and got to where I needed to be. Don’t know what happened the first time. I think you’re correct, that I clicked on add page instead of add post. Thanks again
