  I need to rename a category and subcategory, but I can’t find an edit or delete option, only an option to add new categories.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Note that you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the site to do what I post below.

  The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

  * You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

  If the log-in information is lost you need to visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  1. To edit or delete a category assigned to a post (whether it’s a draft or has already been published), go to Dashboard → Posts → All Posts in your dashboard, hover over the title and click the Edit link. To delete the post click the Trash link.

  2. To edit/delete categories in your dashboard go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories

  3. To edit or delete dynamic category pages from your custom menu go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
