  How do I delete a category? I have added a few that I now want to delete and change. However I have tried everything and it only seems to let me add new categories and not delete. I don’t know if it’s because I have a free plan. Thanks

  Hi there,

  If you want to remove categories from the menu, please follow below steps:
  1- Click on My Sites, then Customize.
  2- In the Customizer, click the Menus tab.
  3- Click on your menu then click on the + Add Items button.
  4- There you will see a cross against the menu item, click on it to remove it from the menu.

  If You want to delete the categories from your website please follow below steps:
  1- Go to My Site → Settings → Writing.
  2- There you will see an option of categories, click on it.
  3- In the next screen you will see the list of categories and the default category.
  4- Click on the three dots next to any category. select the option of delete.
