How do assign post to certain pages? Under the menu, my pages are categories so that I can assign the post to that category. For example under blog, I have 5 pages i made to be categories, so that I can assign a multiple posts to that category. Is there a better way to do this? Also now each page is showing category: Journey or whatever the title to that category is on top of that page. How do I take that off if I have to keep it as a category to post multiple post to a page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,

The way that you’ve set up the menu is perfectly fine. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend putting the category menu items under the “Blog” item, but it’s fine to do so. You could have also arranged them under a “Categories” top-level item, or have each as a separate top-level item.
Also now each page is showing category: Journey or whatever the title to that category is on top of that page. How do I take that off…
To hide the labels such as “Category: Journey” at the top of category pages would require CSS customization. If you’d like the code that will accomplish that, I’d suggest that you add a “Modlook” tag to the sidebar to call for staff attention. If you do so, please note that staff will be shorthanded until around September 20th due to the annual “Automattic Grand Meetup” event, and response by staff might take longer than normal before then.

Do you want to remove/hide just the word “Category” in the category page headers or the remove the headers entirely?

There may be an option at Customize to hide categories on some WordPress.com themes, but this question is unrelated to the support request in the present topic. Please start a new topic, here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1.

It doesnt allow me CSS because I have I have the free plan. It tells me to upgrade.
I want to remove the headers. -
That’s correct. Custom CSS is only available on the Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans.

Only hiding it with CSS customization, which would require the upgrade to at least the Premium plan.
