  Hi! Whenever I assign my posts to categories then later click on that category from my menu, it says ‘You are viewing Uncategorized.’ But if I search my post, at the top it will have the assigned category at the top of the post. I’ve deleted my categories then recreated them and even that didn’t do anything. I just recently ran into this problem when I renamed my categories. Help!

  Since you renamed the categories, you would want to remove the existing categories from the Menu and add the renamed categories again to the Menu.

  To do so, navigate to My site >> Design >> Customize >> Menu >> Select the Menu to edit >> Add Items >> Click on red X next to the categories showing error >> Choose the Category menu item type from the list >> CLick on + sign next to the category you want to add >> Publish
