  how to remove a categories from my own profile?

  i think you are talking about the categories under which your posts are published, if so then its very simple. just go to the categories option from your dashboard. There you can remove any category you want.

  There are some themes which do not show categories on your homepage such as 2010 theme.

  @walktheshame: Apart from clarifying your question, you need to correct your username link – it links to a deleted blog.

  @itspak: Maybe. Might just as well be talking about the categories under or over each post. So I don’t think anything: I just don’t waste time replying to vague questions.

  By the way, your reply above isn’t correct. All themes except Monotone can display or not display categories (or any other widget) in their sidebar or bottombar: that’s up to you to arrange in Appearance>Widgets.
