  Can someone tell me how to add a category to a new post? I notice that all my posts are labeled “not categorized”. I can’t find a way to add a category. Also, would adding a category to a post increase the likelihood that someone would notice it? My email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  You should find a Categories box on the right hand side of the screen when adding a new post. If not, maybe you need to use “screen options” ( top right) which controls what is shown on each screen – and then ask to include Categories if it is not already checked..
