  I have two problems, both to do with my categories.

  1) Two of my categories were titled ” The G. and The K”, and “The K. and The G.” I recently attempted to re-title these particular categories. I succeeded with “The G. and The K”, changing it to “The Grendel Khan”. I had a problem changing “The K. and The G.” At first I changed this to “King G the Great”, then decided to drop “the Great”. The update did not go through. I tried using the quick edit, and saw the error message that the slug “king g” was already in use. How do I find where the slug is in use and un-use it?

  2) When I set up my blog, all of my categories are listed under “The K. and The G” instead of the heading “categories” I have tried to locate this and have so far failed.

  1. Categories and tags share the same slugs. Things of categories as featured tags rather than something separate. Are you perhaps using a “king g” tag?

  2. The just appears to be the title you have given to your Categories widget at Appearance -> Widgets in your Dashboard.
