Categories and Archives

  Help! I have set up categories and I have archives. All the dates eg June 2008 I would like in the archives and not in the categories but they are in both. Can I delete the dates from categories without them being deleted in that they will still stay in the categories?

  correction…can I delete them from categories and they will still stay in ARCHIVES.

  Yes, you can delete the categories. They don’t affect the dates in archives at all. Archives are based on the date/time your posts are published.
