Categories and Category Menus both visible

  I want my categories to display horizontally below the header, but the theme has set categories on the side vertically. I figured out I could make category menus which put them where I wanted, but the vertical list was still there, which just looks stupid, having 2 of the same lists. Is there any way I can fix this, or do I have to settle for having categories on the side?

  Hang on, I think it fixed itself. However, how do I remove title of Categories, because it doesn’t appear in my widgets.

  and Uncategorised. I tried putting it in the menu, and it made one in there and one in the widget again.
