Categories are on infinite scroll in editor

  I was extremely annoyed and confused to find all of my categories in the editor suddenly listed in one infinite scroll taking up way too much space on the page. It’s bad enough the text box of the editor has nearly-infinite scroll too. Is there a way to turn those boxes back to a manageable size like they used to be? It takes up so much extra time when I’m forced to endlessly scroll up and down to find my place, particularly if I want to make formatting changes that involves scrolling all the way back up to access that bar, then scrolling all the way back down to where I was at. I’m using the classic editor, and refuse to use the block editor because it’s so non-intuitive.
