Categories block not updating on homepage category button

    I added a “Categories” template to my front page that I would expect to update with any new categories I add via the blog posts but instead only updates with the latest blog post category I add. Every time I make a new category, the second category on my front page is replaced by the new category. I would like to develop a solution where every new category is added in horizontal list format to the front page. Currently I have set up three categories which are visible under the “ALL” section yet only two appear on my front page. Thanks for the help.

    Could you confirm if you have at least one public post assigned to each of your new categories? Please note that if you create a category but it does not have any posts assigned to it, it will not be shown under the “Categories” block.
