Categories – "Blog is empty"

  I got a wordpress blog that I’m running myself (wordpress.org). And I installed a theme, and everything seemed to be working fine, untill I click a Category and it takes me to “Blog is empty” page… Some other categories work, but these dont. The permalinks are set to default, the posts per page I set to 1500 (just because I read somewhere it could be the problem).

  I have a static page, which is the blog page/layout. But it still doesnt work.. Can anyone tell me what to do? And please explain it a bit easy because I tend to get frustrated when people don’t explain what I need to do. So tell me what files and what code I should be editing, if thats the case.
