"Categories" box missing

  When I want to post a new entry the “categories” box doesn’t appear, so I can’t add categories. That’s not the case for another admin of the same site; the “categories” box does show up for him. We both use

  I thought we both use Chrome as our browser but I’m not sure. Will check with him. Does it make a difference?

  The browser you use shouldn’t affect things here. Can you check that you have the box next to Categories checked in the screen options of your new post page.

  Those screen options allow you to hide and show certain parts of the interface. If that box is unchecked it would explain why categories aren’t showing up for you.
