Categories by mail?

  Hello

  I am setting up a blog for my non native English speakeers so that they do not have to be confused by separate signups and confirmations. I pre create THEIR post (number equals student #) and then they use COMMENTS to write.

  I shoudl mention that I create 50 categories, 1 per student. And then 50 posts with the same category. So, message 5 goes to category 5.

  When I tried that by setting up email (faster that using web browser) I found that the category did not take—>

  My message was as follows:

  Post your message below

  [category 5]

  But at
  http://tsukuba1.wordpress.com/

  you can see that this did not happen.

  Same at message FOUR.

  Actually I also want to use tyhe password tag to make it so that non students cannot access the student pages and sabotage things, but so far I can’t even get the categories to work.

  Is it because I am using my domain’s web browser instead of my email program?

  The problem is because you are using numbers for category names – the system is assuming this is a category ID. I will look into fixing this so it checks the name also.

  Thanks. I did not realize that. I will try adding a name before the number.
