Categories disappeared

  Yesterday I added a widget with ClustrMap and my categories disappeared. Everything that was in the right side of the blog,except for the ClustrMap icon, is gone. How do I restore to the default appearance of the blog, with categories list showing?

  This is normal behavior. Once you add a widget, the default sidebar vanishes and you need to recreate your sidebar using all widgets. Presentation/Widgets (you probably know that.)

  Can I delete the widget and get back to the default sidebar? If so, how?

  i don’t think removing the widget would get you the default sidebar. i think you need to add the widgets back. default sidebar usually has widgets like pages, categories, archives, links, meta, etc.
