  My categories disappeared, too, for no apparent reason. I fixed it on the widgets page, but now I’ve discovered that they’re only visible in the Firefox browser. With Internet Explorer, they’re invisible. What’s going on?

  I see your categories widget in IE7 in the left sidebar just fine. Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and restarting your browser?
