Categories disappearing and reappearing randomly.

  Hi,

  I’ve deleted the parent for some categories after which the children categories don’t appear any more under the Categories page. However, they still can be used for blog posts, and their slugs are being used up as well.
  Can someone advise me pls?

  What’s the exact name of the parent category and the corresponding children categories please?

  I’ve deleted the parent, so I’m not sure about it,

  #1 is from the category list. note that it says there are 14 categories, whereas there are fewer than that.
  #2 is from a new-post-screen.
