Categories don't show in post settings

  Hi,

  I have created categories in the menu but they don’t show up in Post Settings. In post settings I only see a ticked Uncategorized box and the option Add New Category. I don’t want to add a new category, just use the existing ones.

  I use the latest Worpress.com version and the twenty-twentyone them.

  Hi there,

  You cannot create categories in the menu. The items that you created in the menu are Pages.
