Categories: don’t want them to show.

  I haven’t created any categories yet, and since I prefer tags, I’d like to remove the horizontal bar at the bottom of my page that shows a single category: “uncategorized”, cause that’s sort of ugly.

  Your best bet if you don’t have the CSS upgrade and a solid knowledge of CSS, is to use one of the themes that simply doesn’t display categories:
