  I need help creating a categories dropdown menu

  Sorry, just to elaborate a little, I am pretty sure I have followed the steps of the various online tutorials and I’m still not having any luck creating a dropdown menu.

  Howdy,

  It looks like you created the custom menu correctly, but you’ll need to activate it before it appears on your site.

  You can do this by assigning your menu to the Primary Menu theme location at Appearance -> Menus.
