    When creating a new category you are able to turn off ‘Top Level’ and search for an existing category to select as parent, Then ‘Add’ to save.

    The next time you add a category the ‘Top Level’ switch is on again, so you switch it off but the search box does not appear and the previous search is still active.

    I’m sure you’ll figure it out!

    As a workaround you can clear the search box yourself after selecting the parent category then the next time you add a category it’s already clear and also appears when you click the ‘Top Level’ box off.[Shrug].

    Hi there!

    You might be seeing some browser caching that might explain the issue. I tried to replicate the problem and it didn’t behave that way for me.

    Try clearing your browser cache and see if that fixes the issue.
