Categories for Blog Posts

  I’m trying to make a blog that has one central theme (fitness) and 4 separate categories, and then be able to post blogs within those categories, having them show up in there, and not on the front home page, which would be a separate intro. I’m using the twenty sixteen theme, is there a better one to be using for this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Twenty Sixteen is fine for what you’ve described. Just switch the front page to a static page instead of the blog page. See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page for relevant information and instructions..
