Categories going Bonkers

    for some reason the number 1 keeps popping up in my categories please help me why does it keep happenin

    That is typically because you deleted the default category (uncategorized) and did not set a new default category. The default category has to be set to a category that actually exists on your blog, and each post has to have at least one category assigned to it.

    Go to settings > writing to set the default post category.
