Categories – Is it possible to give each Category A seperate Header

I have a site that is primarily set up to promote my autobiography Belfast Child – Which tells the story of my life growing up within the heartlands of loyalist Belfast and my life long search for my missing Catholic mother.
I have posted some documentaries that cover the Northern Ireland troubles & under categories I have assigned ” Documentaries ” and it has a child page called Northern Ireland, which I intend only to post relevant content. I also plan to post other documentaries that have nothing to do with N.I and I want to know if I can give each category its own header image. i.e I want a picture of ( for example) Belfast Troubles to appear under all videos with the Northern Ireland documentaries and if I create a category covering say Mobsters , I want a picture of Al Capone.
Hopefully you get the picture and can offer some help.

Also whilst on the subject of posting loads of documentaries , is there an easy way to organise these in a smooth, neat manner. I currently post them into my blog and that gets my twitter followings reading/seeing the post. But I don’t want to over load my blog page and plan to move all documentaries to the relevant page . I have already posted 2 documentaries under the northern Ireland sub page, but these don’t look good and the page has no personality. Is there a way to spruce all this up and make this look professional.
I am using the free twenty three theme.

    Thanks a million in advance.

    About header images:
Category, Archive, Search and Author pages are all dynamic pages that are generated from your site’s database when a query takes place, like when someone clicks on a category in the Category Cloud widget or in a Custom Menu link. Being dynamic pages, they can’t be modified (at least not on WPcom) to include a specialized header. They will use your site’s default header.

However, on Pages that you create, like About, Contact and the like you can on most themes, use a Featured image as a custom image header for that Page.

You’ll also want to read about the difference between Posts and Pages:

I know there are other questions here, but that’s all the time I have this morning. Perhaps another forum volunteer or Staff will be able to assist. Cheers
