Categories keep disappearing

  Hey

  Could anyone tell me why my categories keep disappearing from time to time? It was all fine last night, but when I logged in today my category widget was not there anymore, I had to add it again, Sometimes my posts also refuse to show their respective categories however they do appear after a while. This has been happening quite frequently. Could anyone tell me why this keeps happening or if there is anything that needs to be fixed from my end.
