Categories lists on main page.

    I have two categories lists on my page. I only want one, and I don’t want it to show at the bottom of the page. How do I eliminate one and place the other where I want it to be seen?

    Hello. I only see one Categories list in the sidebar, at the bottom. You also have Archives in the side bar which lists posts by months. Is that what you mean by the second categories list? Categories and Archives are Widgets. I usually remove Archives by months, that’s easy to do. So is moving Categories farther up the sidebar. Here’s how:

    Go Dashboard –> Appearance — Widgets

    Over on the right you’ll see the box titled Sidebar and the Widgets you’re currently using, in the order they appear on your site. Anything there can be dragged on or off the Sidebar and dragged up or down. For more info:
