categories/menu

    I would like to put recipes under certain categories such as Hispanic, Asian, Stews, etc. Not sure if blog is approriate because I can’t link blogs to the categories in the menu. The menu takes the name of the blog. Should I just make long pages with menus? But then it wouldn’t show latest post. Thanks for your help!

    Howdy –

    Here’s my suggestion.

    Assign your post page to be one that is not linked in your menu. It will technically be discoverable if someone goes looking and knows the title of that page, but it wouldn’t be linked from the front end of your site.

    Then, you can add the different post categories in to the site menu. When someone clicks on “Stews” they’d see all the posts with that assigned category. Does that sound like what you’re looking to do?
