Categories menu with dropdown op top of page

    I would really like to have something done on my page, similar to this website: http://www.formatmag.com
    I would like to have my categories on top of my page from left to right with the subcategories in a drop downn. I’ve searched and searched the web for some plugin for this or for someone who knows how to acchieve this…
    Anyone?

    We don’t “do” plug-ins here at wordpress.com so I’m guessing you are either a self hosting or web hosted blogger in the wrong forum. If this the case then we can’t help you here because wordpress.com and wordpress.org run on entirely different software. Try here http://wordpress.org/support

    If you are a wordpress.com blogger then the kind of hacking you want to do indicates you need to become a self hosted blogger or hire a web host and then download a wordpress.org template and hack it.
    The only way you can edit your theme’s appearance (and not functionality you’re indicating) here at wordpress.com is through purchasing an upgrade and customizing the css yourself.
