categories: minimizing&maximizing

  title might be a bit confusing, brain just shut down… but i’m looking to see if it’s possible to ‘minimize’ your sub-categories into the parent category, so the lists won’t be so long (for those who have long lists) if there isn’t such a thing then it’d be great if it could happen, since it would keep the blog pages a lot more organized. thx!

  I don’t know what you mean by minimize but I want to be sure that you know that you do have the option of configuring the Categories widget to display as a drop-down http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/

  yep, i’m aware of the dropdown, but i was thinking something more like the subcategories dropping down from the parent category (in a list) so the subs are hidden until you press the arrow or the ‘+’ button next to the parent category… if that makes sense
