Categories name change

  Hi, please assist, I would like to change my categories name ie. “Athens pictures” to “Athens” but I get the following msg “The slug “athens” is already in use by another term”.

  PS:Within all my posts in “slug” section, there is not the word “Athens” nowhere. Any idea what slug means, is like nick name of the photo?.

  You cannot have a Tag and a Category that are the same. Perhaps this is what’s happening. Please check and see if that’s the case. > Dashboard > Posts > Post Tags

  I’m having the same trouble – but I DO have a tag “architecture” AND a links category “architecture”. I’m wanting a “photography” tag and a “photography” links category but it won’t let me. And I double checked, the spelling and case is identical in “architecture”…
