Categories not in proper order

  I’m puzzled about my blog at towabletraveltrailers.wordpress.com where I have categories that are part of the parent category, but they don’t show up in order in the sidebar when I tie a post to a category. If you’ll notice, it’s not in order. Forest River is parent, with Flagstaff Classic being below that and 829FKSS below Flagstaff Classic, but they don’t show up in the sidebar in that order. They are ramdon by alpha rather than in order of parent and child. What do I need to do to fix that problem.

  Go to design > widgets and edit the categories widget and make sure “show hiearchy” is selected then click “change” and then click “save changes.”

  Sorry 1tess, I posted here first and realized I should have done it under questions. My error, sorry, will be better next time. This is my first time on this forum. Thanks for the suggestion.

  I don’t seem to get my changes updated: 1. assigned a parent category 2. listed them there (while in settings and in category ). Also, from design>widgets I created all the options available, including hierarchy.

  Also, from design>widgets, I deselected and saved removal of tag cloud.

  Nothing got updated, though I clicked on change.

  Did you scroll down and “Save”
  Sometimes that’s not obvious?
