Categories not showing

Hi y’all,
None of my visitors’ comments are displaying on my site. I can see them stored under Comments when I log in, but they don’t display with their pages.
All of my blogroll was missing earlier today, but now some of it has reappeared. Other links remain AWOL.

Hey, Matt. Since last night I was getting the 404 page when trying to get archives for any category, but it seems to be fixed by tonight. However, now part of my blogroll is gone:
1. 80% of “Blogroll” gone
2. 100% of “Enlaces en español” (a category of the blogroll) gone
3. 70% of “Enlaces en inglés” (blogroll cat) gone.They are marked “visible” in the blogroll control panel, though.

I’m having the same problem as mentioned above with categories showing up that aren’t what I assigned even though everything looks fine in Edit mode.

Details of what is missing on my blogs.
In http://ninglun.wordpress.com/ categories not appearing are: A short blog roll — which prevents that showing up at all in the links widget; Rabbit (57 posts); Web stuff (90); My Sites (165).
In http://ninglunbooks.wordpress.com/ none are missing, but some posts tagged “site news” were miscalled “uncategorized” — I saved some recent entries again and the categories reappeared, but there should be 23 posts in that category but the tag cloud says 22.
In http://neilwhitfield.wordpress.com/ no categories seem to be missing, but I have found at least one post tagged “uncategorized” when it had been tagged “site news etc”. I fixed that one by saving it again.

I just noticed about 3/4 of my links in my links widget have disappeared.

Since the other thread requested very specific descriptions of the problems:
(1) A new post I wrote during today’s problems does not show up in any of the categories in which the post has been filed. However, all other categories do appear.
(2) For the blogroll, most of the links don’t show up on the sidebar at all. I have the blogroll divided into 3 categories, and there is no overlap, i.e. a link should appear in at most one blogroll category. However, now, certain websites are listed in multiple blogroll categories, and most are missing altogether. Sometimes, links are in the wrong blogroll categories.

Seems I’m missing “blogroll” in its entirety and some entries under most of the categories which normally show as links in the sidebar (e.g., 2 or 3 or so links missing under “Ecology and Environmental Science”).
Oh, and some categories under posts are missing.

Edit: The Categories are not all correct (for older posts) as I previously thought. Some categories are entirely missing and have their posts partially reassigned to other categories. Other posts seem to be missing the category lists altogether.

i’m having the same problem too. my blogroll doesn’t appear in my main site even though they are still in my “manage blogroll” page. Please help rectify.

I went through September on http://ninglun.wordpress.com/ and found many posts that had reverted to uncategorized. I saved each one and the categories reappeared. However, looking at August I see the same is true there. Do I save them individually, or just wait? The missing items on tag cloud are still missing.

My tag cloud is not displaying anything.
Also, my categories (drop-down) shows ‘not found’.
Some of my posts show as “uncategorized” when in fact they have categories. For example, http://angelacw.wordpress.com/2007/09/02/podcast-junkies/ shows uncategorized, when in fact it is “podcasts” and “videos”.

1. Two of the three sections of blogroll are missing.
2. Posts with “日本” tag are missing from “日本” tag page (the latest entry would probably show for about an hour before it too would disappear.
3. Can’t add new tags to existing posts.

All my categories are working now except for ‘web 2.0 tools’. There should be 29 posts but only 1 displays.
