categories not showing on post

  how to get the categories show on post like the demo page?
  i have ticked the “show categories” in Content Options already, but it seems not working…

  I had a look at your WordPress.com site and theme it uses it.

  I also had a look at the live demo that Canard theme offers: https://canarddemo.wordpress.com/2015/03/02/phone-test/

  It doesn’t seem to be showing categories on the posts. It shows only the tags.

  This is a theme-level issue and you can create a topic on the theme’s official support page: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/canard for suggesting this feature.

  I’m not seeing anything anywhere on a very basic issue–this is why computers irritate me! The menu for assigning categories and tags to my posts was always present in the “edit” phase… until this morning. Now it’s gone, and I don’t know how to restore it. I have no clue what I may have done to deactivate it, and now I have none about how to get it back. Any advice… anyone???
