Categories of Private Posts

  Unless I haven’t thoroughly searched enough, I can’t seem to find a solution to my issue.

  I’m running the newest version of WordPress on my server, and here is my dilemma:

  I have gone through and assigned some posts that are members of certain categories to Private, so only I can see them. After doing that, the categories that the posts are in have disappeared from the home page, and the admin Categories page shows that those categories in question have zero posts within them.

  When I sign out and look at the homepage, I see no posts nor categories (which is what I am aiming for currently).

  But, like previously stated, when I am signed in, I do see all posts, just no categories. If I click on the category that is listed under the post, it shows all the posts within that category.

  Has anyone else experienced this before? And if so, what was the fix?

  I’m sorry to report that you have accidentally posted to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here at WordPress.com with that site as it’s not being hosted by WordPress.com and as we run on different software. This is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/
