I am struggling to figure out how to have certain blog topic appear under certain blog pages…. I.e., Pregnancy Page will have pregnancy topics?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Good Morning – You can tag your posts and also use categories to help organize the content of your blog. If I searched your site, I could find all the posts that have been tagged ‘pregnancy’ for example. Information on Tags: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/tags/

Categories are different than tags, in that you can create a hierarchal system. You could have ‘Pregnancy’ as a category and then have sub Categories of ‘1st trimester’ ‘2nd trimester’ ‘3rd trimester’ ‘labor and delivery’ etc… Category help is found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/view-all/

The difference in Categories and Tags is discussed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories-vs-tags/

If you make a page titled ‘1st trimester’ you can link all of your posts that relate to that page title from the Edit Page Screen. From your Edit Page Screen you can create a list of post titles or write out a little exert and then link your posts via the hyperlink icon in the top row. Once you click that link icon it is going to bring up the list of posts for your blog and you can select which ones you want to link to that page.

When viewing your page ‘1st Trimester’ I could see the linked posts such as ‘first doctors visit’ , ‘morning sickness’ , ‘fatigue’ , etc..

Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can help you out further.
