Categories Order

What is the best method for changing the order of categories that are under the category widget? I did a google search to look for an answer for this, but most of the posts I found were 5-6 years old and the add-ons they suggested have not been updated in a long time. What is the most efficient way of changing the order of the categories?

I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you are not referring to a blog hosted by WordPress.COM and you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

You can’t. Only Staff can. Just post over at wordpress.org support and this thread will eventually fall off the front support forum page here.
