categories, pages, posts??
-
I have a website I designed, but I am new to blogs. Very confused here. My blog shows I have 1 post, 2 pages and 3 categories. I must not understand the difference between pages and posts, because only 1 of 3 things I wrote show up on the blog. How do I get the other 2 pages with their own category under the 1st one?

Can’t help without a link to your blog. And consider linking it to your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum.
In the meantime, check the FAQ on posts versus pages

On the main forum page, there will be a highlighted section of Important Notices containing “sticky” posts, one entitled “8 Things To Know Before Posting in WordPress.Com Forums”. You will find very good info there.

At the moment your main blog area shows one post, and your sidebar one category and no Pages. Take note of the following:
– Pages will show if you go to Design>Widgets and add the Page widget.
– A category won’t show in the sidebar unless there are posts assigned to it.
– Only posts can be categorized, not pages.
The sticky post “8 Things to Know” is on top of the others in this forum (above “Latest Discussions”).
