CATEGORIES – PLEASE HELP ME!!!

  Hello,

  I am trying to post specifically to certain pages. I assign my post to a category that matches the page name. It appears on the home page but not on the page I allocated. I have no idea what to do and will cease to use wordpress if I cannot find a solution as this has been ongoing for too long.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you trying to display links to posts within a page? For example, everything tagged in a particular category? I just got an answer on this two days ago and it was driving me crazy too. There’s a short code for that. https://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/

  Sorry if that’s not what you’re looking for. I just know I’ve been waiting for ages for replies in this forum and getting nothing in response so thought I’d pass that info along in case it helps.

  Another way to do it is to add a Category Page. In my template (perhaps its the same for yours) I go to Customize>Menus and open your menu. Then Add Item. Select Categories. Type the appropriate category.

  I’m experimenting with both options on my site. Haven’t settled on which is better yet because I’m having formatting issues and I’m hoping for answers in the forum.
