Categories post number problem

  Well, I am not sure whether this is related to the recent common problem concerning categories.
  So, I try to post it here. And if this is related, please kindly tell me.

  The problem I’ve got is that the number count next to the category name are not correct.
  Say, there is no entry in “Uncategorized” but it shows a ” 3 ” next to it.
  What is the problem?

  I’ve got this problem aswell as I cannot add or see any Categories in the control panel.

  I can still see those categories showing the correct number count in the control panel.
  But they are wrong in the blog main page.
